Solid Pine Bedroom Furniture

The bedroom is the most important room in our home. I'm not going to argue that point; it is a simple unavoidable fact. Sure you can chill out in the living room, watch a little TV, and you can chat with friends in the kitchen while the kettle boils and the stove heats up. But neither of these rooms can compete with the promise and versatility offered by the bedroom. A beautiful room, a functional room, a romantic room. It can serve as the final retreat from the rigours of a stressful day, or place to get intimate with the love of your life. You sleep there, you make love there you watch TV there you make yourself beautiful there. So don't you think the bedroom deserves a little respect?

I do.

Your bedroom deserves all the TLC it can give you in return. So when it comes to furniture don't cut corners (unless you can't avoid it). I understand that the best does cost a little extra, but if you can afford then don't you think its worth it?

We've just finished a two storey extension on our house and we have a new master bedroom - its bigger than our old one and needs its own furniture and after much consideration we are going to go with the Ascot Pine Range which we've ordered from the Pine Factory. I'm a traditionalist at heart, so solid wood was always going to be a given, but the Ascot Pine Range appeals to me. The softness of the Pine Wood is offset by a sturdy build quality that I find appealing.

I wont be buying the entire range, (I'm not made of money!) but have ordered a few of the essential items. My bedroom will definitely thank me for it in the long run...

I've gone for the Double Bed, we don't need anything bigger than that. Doesn't come with a mattress, but I will be investing in one of those memory foam mattresses when the bed arrived (still got 6 to 8 weeks for delivery).

A Pine Dressing Table. The wife insists on this one - she cant have a bedroom without a place to work the magic in the morning.

A double door and 3 drawer Pine Wardrobe and a Chest of Drawers.

That's all. I'll probably order a bedside cabinet as well but until all the furniture is in the room I'm not sure how much space we have.

Anyway, that's my homage to my new bedroom. I can't wait for it to arrive!
